Walnut Creek History

For the history of Walnut Creek, residents and visitors can find information at the Shadelands Ranch Historical Museum. It lives in a turn of the century house built by one of Walnut Creek's founding fathers, Hiram Penniman. The house stands in it's original state with furniture and artifacts including records, photos, and maps documenting the city's history.

Walnut Creek Housing

Walnut Creek houses around 30,000 homes and is a great area for homeowners to invest. There is a solid buyer demand and the residential growth is limited therefore keeping house values strong. As well as single family homes; apartments, condos, townhomes, and duplexes are available within the community.
